Overview
Rango is an American computer-animated Western comedy-drama film. It was directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by Graham King. Besides, it features the voices of actors Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Bill Nighy, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina, Harry Dean Stanton, Ray Winstone, Timothy Olyphant and Ned Beatty.
Rango received critical compliments. The site's consensus says, "Rango is a smart, giddily creative burst of beautifully animated entertainment, and Johnny Depp gives a colorful vocal performance as a household pet in an unfamiliar world." A different review-aggregation website, Metacritic, reported that the film had been given an average review of 75 out of 100 (or 3 out of 4).
It's an actual movie lover's movie, conceived as a Blazing Saddles-like comic commentary on kind that's as back-lot savvy as it is light in the saddle. The movie compliments the custom of thoroughly drawn animated classics, and does appealing things with room and perspective with its untamed action sequences.

Short Details of the Story
The chronicle follows the comical, transformative voyage of Rango (Depp), a sheltered chameleon living as a common family pet, while facing a main identity catastrophe. After all, how high can you aspire when your entire reason in life is to blend in? When Rango by chance winds up in the rough, gun-slinging town of Dirt - a unruly settlement occupied by the desert's most cunning and unusual creatures - the less-than-courageous lizard unexpectedly finds he stands out.
Welcomed as the last hope the town has been waiting for, new Sheriff Rango is required to play his new role to the hilt . . . until, in combustion of action-packed situations and encounters with disgraceful characters, Rango begins to turn out to be the hero he once only pretended to be. With a cast that includes Depp and other big casts, Rango brings an exciting new twirl on the typical Western legend of the stranger who saves a town - and himself in the process.
